May 2004... and a bit before
Biggin it up to dave in Birmingham for a quality weekend.

You can't invest time better than in the Midlands. Forget about the emerging
Chinese market, where it is really at is Cannock. An evening of currry and
pool.

The following day we headed north to the Peaks. Dave's navigation came up
trumps, though there were a couple of 'jokers' along the way. It was a bank
holiday so whilst the weather was grand watering holes were closed!

Fellow walkers were 'few and far between' and after another one of Dave's 'Quarter
of a miles' we decided that a short cut was in order. We found a public right
of way on the map accross a farm that would take us home. But hang on surely
this is the path... but it goes right through that hurd of bulls. That can't
be a good thing. The field was a marsh, it was a loose loose situation.

And yes it was... That was the path we were supposed to take. Jim resolves to
have a 'polite word' with the farmer.

Quality weekend dave. Thanks
The best dogs in the world ever
Here are a couple of cute pics of sony and sally. I washed them before mum and
dad came back from Spain. They really need a cut. They are the best.

DCUG
Just did a presentation to the Diocesan
Computer Users Group (DCUG) showcasing my work to date at church house. The
presentation can be found here (well not yet, soon though)
Quality weekend 14th - 16th. Spent the weekend with Ayo (i think that's
how you spell it), Pen, Marco-Antonio and Georgia. Friday night clubbing,
Saturday went to Stratford-apon-Avon. Took a bbq and sat by a beautiful
just downstream of the church (St. Mary's i think). Quality day. Forgot my
camera.
Euro 2004
On the bright side footy tickets have just come for Euro 2004.

How exciting is this. We are going to be there when Bulgaria pull off
a shock win over Italy and go on to win Euro 2004. Portugal isn't going to
know what has hit it when we turn up on the ol' mopeds!
